It may not have been that smooth but...

you can really get a sense of the porportion and the movement of the cat and people. Even with a blank white background, it was possible to understand the movement of the camera and the cat. It's not bad at all.

I thought it was lovely. I liked the concept, and the animation wasn't bad at all.

You may consider studying the Snorks, similar underwater creatures from an old Hanna Barbara cartoon series, for further inspiration.

It was so random it made me laugh a couple times.

Practice with animation techniques some more and you could have some really funny shorts.
